Awair now provides secure, centralized, and easy user access with the new Single Sign-On (SSO) feature for the Awair Business app and Awair Dashboard.‍

Why SSO?‍

Employees access several Software as a Service (SaaS) tools every day including building management and indoor air quality applications. This requires them to maintain a different set of credentials for every app they use. (The average user has 70 – 80 passwords to memorize or store!) Managing multiple credentials creates security issues. Even though users know better they struggle to come up with strong, unique passwords. It also impacts the user experience.

On the flip side, managing passwords at the organization level, can be costly. On average it costs $70 for a single password reset.  Gartner found that between 20% - 50% of all IT help desk calls are for password resets.

What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Awair’s single sign-on solution allows employees to quickly and securely sign in using the login method central to your organization. 

Using Okta, the leading identity platform, as the backbone of our Single Sign-On offering, administrators can invite and grant access to Awair’s app and Awair Dashboard using their organization credentials. With this feature, you can eliminate the use of passwords that present security risk, while improving productivity with one-click access to Awair. 

Currently, Awair Single Sign-On supports Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD) users.  We also offer the flexibility to integrate with any other identity management provider of your choice.
