Awair now provides secure, centralized, and easy user access with the new Single Sign-On (SSO) feature for the Awair Business app and Awair Dashboard.
Employees access several Software as a Service (SaaS) tools every day including building management and indoor air quality applications. This requires them to maintain a different set of credentials for every app they use. (The average user has 70 – 80 passwords to memorize or store!) Managing multiple credentials creates security issues. Even though users know better they struggle to come up with strong, unique passwords. It also impacts the user experience.
On the flip side, managing passwords at the organization level, can be costly. On average it costs $70 for a single password reset. Gartner found that between 20% - 50% of all IT help desk calls are for password resets.
At Awair, data security is not a “nice-to-have”, it’s a must. We respect and protect the privacy and security of your office, business, or school’s indoor air quality (IAQ) data with built-in security features like Single Sign-On (SSO), SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance, and regular security penetration testing.
Awair’s single sign-on solution allows employees to quickly and securely sign in using the login method central to your organization.
Using Okta, the leading identity platform, as the backbone of our Single Sign-On offering, administrators can invite and grant access to Awair’s app and Awair Dashboard using their organization credentials. With this feature, you can eliminate the use of passwords that present security risk, while improving productivity with one-click access to Awair.
Currently, Awair Single Sign-On supports Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AD) users. We also offer the flexibility to integrate with any other identity management provider of your choice.
SSO can help your employee’s login seamlessly to the applications that they use frequently, including Awair.
Current Awair Dashboard subscribers using Azure can get started with SSO here.
We can also support other protocols, such as Auth0 or we can work with you to integrate with your 3rd party identity provider of choice – for example Okta, OneLogin, or SecureAuth – get in touch with us to find out more!
If you are not a current client or Dashboard subscriber but are interested in learning more, please reach out to our Sales team with your specific needs.

Building health safety has always been important, but it has never received as much public attention as it is getting now. A big part of that attention is focused on indoor air quality (IAQ). People are becoming increasingly aware that ventilation, air filtering, and IAQ are leading factors in measuring the safety of a space, especially for re-entry. In addition, managing building air quality:
